I was born on November 13, 1970.
After successfully completing high school, I studied computer sciences.
I got hooked on vintage cars during a job in my semester break. Since restoring cars as hobby soon wasn’t enough for me anymore, I completed an apprenticeship as an automotive mechanic and straight after furthered my education in this field by attending a master school.
After various positions as a head auto mechanic, as well as workshop foreman I opened up my own automotive workshop.
Soon my premises were filled to capacity and I was faced with the decision to either build larger premises or sell the business. Then I got the opportunity to establish a new department at BRABUS and restore – under excellent conditions – high-quality classics, primarily Mercedes.
After nearly eight years at BRABUS, many trade shows and trips abroad, during which a strong team and a great, modern workshop were put together, as well as my marriage to my wife Caren, it was time for a new chapter in my life:
